Company Culture Committee

The SPG Company Culture Committee is a group of diverse people from different parts of our organization who meet and interact regularly to help promote, address, and work on shaping the culture of our amazing company.

Our committee develops events that will enhance company culture, bring observations to the forefront, and acts to propel change. We also regularly communicate with team members and leadership, acting as a direct link between employees and the executives at the company.

The culture committee meets monthly to discuss ideas that could serve company culture and to create initiatives or make decisions that could positively impact the business.

Yearly Awards

Employee of The Year

Employee of the Year is a yearly award that the Executive Team selects, with input from the Directors and Leadership team.

Employee of the year is a BIG DEAL. This team member cares immensely about the quality of thier work, the company, and the people they work with - and it shows.

Ideally, this is also a team member who most embodies our core values and consistently meets and/or exceeds KPIs.

A single person will be seclected as a winner, and gifted a large amount of tacos and a personalized award to showcase.

 

Unsung Hero

Unsung Hero is a yearly award that is directly impacted by colleagues (internal).

An "Unsung Hero" is someone who has made the most improvements in a single calendar year, but may not have received the recognition deserved. They likely kept their head down to make these improvements, working diligently to excel.

Everyone in the organization has an opportunity to elect someone (other than themselves) for this award via a form submission. 

The team member with the most amount of votes will be selected as a winner, and gifted a large amount of tacos and a personalized award to showcase.

I can't say enough how proud I am to be working with such an amazing team. I would love to give these yearly awards out to everyone, because you all do so much to drive this company forward, and I see that every single one of you is passionate about the work. There can only be one Employee of the Year, and One Unsung Hero however, and I'm blessed to say that it is always a difficult decision year after year.

Quarterly Awards

The Big Cheese

The Big Cheese is our Quarterly award with recognition and input directly from leadership.

Leadership nominates those they feel have been outstanding or exceptional for the quarter in relation to our Core Values.

We then vote as a group in the next ROF on who should receive this award based on that feedback. The winner receives a physical Big Cheese (to be passed on to the next winner each quarter), an Amazon gift card and a "refresh" day off.*

 

 

The BIG CHEESE is someone who understands work/life balance, and knows how to make the most of their day-to-day at Sierra Pacific Group. This person is always down to help others, as long as it in "in scope"

Monthly Awards

SPG Rockstar

SPG Rockstar is a Monthly award that is directly impacted by colleagues (internal). The total number of hashtags received from Bonusly inidicated the winner. We also use this to highlight the Core Value hashtag the top receiver had for that month.

The selected winner receive 100 bonus Tacos in Bonusly, as well as a special corresponding SPG Badge in their email signature!

*Refresh Day Certificate must be redeemed to your Manage with 2 weeks notice and within 90 days.

*Monthly awards are always a MONTH behind due to the nature of having to collect the data and then announced at ROF the last Friday of every month. Each type of award has a cap of 3 wins per colleague per calendar year.

 

CSAT Warrior

The Big Cheese is a Monthly award that is determined via client feedback (external). The colleague with most positive SmileBack surveys in a month wins.

The selected winner receive 100 bonus Tacos in Bonusly, as well as a special corresponding SPG Badge in their email signature!
